Feature Artist: Bethany Lee


A native of Minnesota, Bethany studied sculpture at the University of Dallas (class of ’03) currently attends the drawing and painting program at the Florence Academy of Art in Jersey City. Observational drawing is an important daily practice for her and often takes the form of plein air painting. She also works in stone and cast mediums. From the artist: This is a plein air watercolor of a tower and its surrounding on the campus of Gregory the Great, a Catholic boys’ boarding school in Elmhurst, PA. Bethany painted it on a series of summer mornings in 2018.
