“Cast Down”, by Kevin Pawlowski, is a watercolor painting over an antique etching by Gustave Doré. The painting is a dramatic depiction of a legion of Heaven's archangels casting down Lucifer's army. So many images of Saint Michael the Archangel show him standing over the defeated Satan, the fallen angel. Well this shows Saint Michael in action, commanding his legion with sword in hand!
This is a one-of-a-kind work of art. The etching was removed from an antique book, and watercolor was applied over the image. The image area is 7.5” x 9.5”, and page size is 8.5” x 11”. It will look best displayed with mat and frame.
