Saint Mother Teresa, born Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu on August 26, 1910, in Skopje, Macedonia, is renowned as one of the most beloved and revered figures of the 20th century. At the age of 18, she joined the Sisters of Loreto and embarked on her mission to India, where she spent most of her life caring for the destitute and sick in the slums of Kolkata.
